Update on blog.

So far I have completed my flat plan form my magazine cover as well as my contents page. I came up with a suitable title which was elevation as it conveys the idea of moving on and moving up. I feel this suits the magazine as it relates to the purpose of the magazine which is to allow students to excel in their studies.

To devise a shot list

These are the camera shots that I will be producing for my magazine cover and contents page.

Front Cover - medium close up
                    - boy sitting at a table reading.

Contents Page - group picture of student studying together as well as a long shot of a girl standing in front of the main sixth form building.
                       - long shot.

Reader profile

Laurelle K. Jacobs is sixteen years old and goes to a mixed college within reasonable distance. She is fond of public transport and takes the train to and from college on a daily basis.
Although Laurelle has been trying her hardest to complete all work required to high standards to meet deadlines, she has been finding it hard to balance her social aspect of life with work.  In addition to this she enjoys a variety of sport and is a member of her local netball team as well as a swimming club.  If she is not at her clubs or working at Top Shop clothing store she is either at home babysitting her younger siblings, practising with her group, where she is a vocalist and bass guitar player or keeping with her courses which are Music, Fashion, Media and English.
I think this magazine will suit a person like Laurelle because “Elevation” focus’ purely ways to help students elevate and progress. Laurelle knows there is a simple way of prioritising and balancing her commitments but isn’t sure how so she’ll be looking out especially for great advice and tips on how to keep on top of her work and priorities.
Ive opened up a blog account and ive never done this before.
